The village Mavrommati is located in the Ancient Messina, lies on the slope of the sacred mountain of the Messinian Ithomi. The village is built in amphitheater style at the foot of a hillside. It took its name from the ancient water fountain (Hourglass) and many ancient legends, myths and traditions are developed over the entire area.
Our rooms and accommodation are in a modern building, close to the Hourglass, overlooking the ancient city which flourished in the 4th century BC. We have 5 triple rooms with large balconies to admire the view, with air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, electric kettle.A tranquil haven for independent travellers or friends and family holidaying together, who wish to experience the 'real' Greece. There is parking space. We provide information on archaeological sites and area attractions. The distance from the airport of Kalamata is 25 km and the distance from the Bouka beach is 19 km.
